12-Week Introduction to Vedic Astrology

  • Introduction to Vedic knowledge. Karma Theorie. The difference between Vedic and Western astrology. Basics of Astronomy and the foundations for Vedic astrology.

  • The significations of the nine planets: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Which planet describes you the most?

  • The movement of the Sun and the Moon divides the zodiac into twelve separate signs. Each planet takes control over at least one of them. Which sign was rising when you were born? In which sign is your sun and where is your Moon? What does that say about your father, mother, mind and your Self.

  • Each sign, as counted from your rising sign, delineates a different area of your life. Revealing intricate details about your (1) self, (2) your sustenance, (3) your courage, (4) your home and happiness, (5) your intelligence, (6) your enemies and bad habits, (7) your love life, (8) your challenges, (9) your purpose, (10) your career, (11) your friends and (12) your time away.

Syllabus:

  • Evaluate the strengths of planetary placements in your horoscope. See your strengths and weaknesses.

  • In this class, we will integrate everything we have learned so far live in class on each others charts.

  • Yogas refer to planetary combinations that can change the directions of the chart. Learn about combination leading to fame and popularity. Combinations that make wealth and combinations that cause even a king to become a beggar.

  • Behind the 12 Zodiac signs are the 27 Lunar Mansion, also known as nakshatras. Learn how the nakshatras flavour every placement in your chart and most importantly how the nakshatra of the Moon determines the unique filter of your mind through which you perceive this world.

  • Every sign in the zodiac can be divided multiple ways to create additional charts with which to see the finer details of our live. The Navamsha or 9th Division reveals our fortune, our tendencies in relationships and the skills we inherited from our previous life.

  • When are planetary placements unfolding their impact on your life? Learn how to accurately time events and forecast your karmic weather report.

  • In this class, we will integrate everything we have learned so far live in class on each others charts.

  • Equip yourself with the knowledge of remedial measures to protect yourself in turbulent times. Learn about meditations, foods, mantras and selfless services matched to your karmic patterns to change your destiny

The course commences on February 27, 2024, at 6 - 8 pm (AEDT) and will continue for 6 - 12 weeks. All classes will be taught online over Zoom. Upon commencement, you will gain access to the exclusive group chat, in which we discuss and contemplate course material. You will gain lifetime access to the course material, including video recordings and course manuals.
